As part of the ERNI team you will be working with Swiss and German customers operating in domains such as finance, security, insurance and more. - Being involved in architecture, design, and development as a member of a self-organized Agile team
- Development and maintaining software programs according to high coding standards
- Development using Java 17
- Participation on process improvements and technology decisions
- Problem solving, debugging, writing unit tests
- Participation in team refinement and estimation
- Doing effective and precise code reviews
- Coaching of less experienced developers
- Taking responsibility for your own decisions and actions.
Tech-stack:
- Java 17, IntelliJ, Sonar, Jenkins, JPA, Maven, SQL
- Monolithic architecture, there is big focus and effort on keeping the project up to date with new technologies, hence Java 17.
What we are looking for:
- More than 3 years of experience with back-end Java development
- Excellent theoretical and practical understanding of advanced Java concepts
- Experience with Java 17 is nice to have, along with Clean Code and Effective Java standards
- Experience with databases
- Experience with continuous integration, e.g., Jenkins
- Experience with Test Driven Development & Unit Tests.
