Although I enjoyed my time as one of the organisers I must say that the experience as an attendee is much more relaxing. I was really looking forward to be able to actually attend the sessions again.

My colleague Michael (Huber) started the day with his intro speech and handed over to Bruno (Wassmer, Managing Director ERNI Switzerland) who “tried to get our sympathies as he had to wear socks again after being back from his vacation”🙂. Oh, and he also gave us the most recent update about our strategic focus. For the first session, I got some insights about our new Digital Business Consulting Service. The second slot was occupied by my own session with Michael about the Continuous Documentation Method at a customer in Banking where we got a small but active crowd to discuss the pros and cons, which meant that lunch sneaked up on us quite quickly.

After the well-deserved meal and some coffee, the afternoon sessions started with some insights in what happens exactly at job fairs and how we can support our recruiting team getting more ERNIans on board.

In the last session, the session leaders tried to help us to stay focused by taking away our mobile phones which was tough for some of us in the group, but we got through it in the end. After the group sessions, everybody came together again for the closing speech and the drawing of the EDD Challenge winner, which marked the end of the official part.
