Daniel Strasser, Managing Director of ERNI Slovakia since 1 March 2019, opened the event highlighting how important it is to develop and improve oneself as well as getting to know each other better: “EPD is a clever combination of learning, networking and fun. Smart employees recognize and value ERNI’s investment in their personal development. And the relaxed environment cares for increased motivation and long-lasting memories.”

To mention only some of the sessions, the team could attend technical workshops dedicated to e.g. lessons from .NET Core, API Testing, SonarQube, but also train their presentation skills, how to use the power of social media in a rational way apart from an addiction or time management techniques as part of the soft skills sessions. The evening program included some wine tasting, a salsa lesson, board games, chatting and networking.

And what do the participants think about the this year’s EPD? Here are some voices.

„As our new MD Daniel mentioned at the EPD opening, we are all full-time agile and there is no better time to take a deep breath and slowly exhale than here. The atmosphere was amazing and the sessions were full of new information and fruity conversations. All the presenters put a lot of efforts into their sessions and I guess we are again a bit smarter. Many thanks to all organizers ❤” Matúš Mackovčín

„EPD is for me the most favorite event of the year. It‘s so precious that we have a chance to get together for few days away from our daily life in the office to learn new things and get to know better our colleagues. I liked the most soft skill sessions, but there is nothing to complain about good food and wine tasting neither. I would like to thank Lenka for organizing this beautiful event, I am sure it took a great effort. Can’t wait for the next year.“ Anna Tuzakova

„This was my first EPD. I enjoyed the workshop about social media very much (did some cleanup at home afterwards) and the session about exercising in the office to prevent backpain as most of time I am sitting when working. And calligraphy will be my new hobby, this workshop closed the whole event nicely and I went home with a smile on my face. The cherry on top were the sweets and the evening program?“ Viera Zelcamova
