Usually, we have a topic set for each breakfast. This past Monday, we enjoyed a breakfast menu like manual workers in Slovakia are used to. The colleagues enjoyed all kinds of salads based on mayonnaise – egg salad, Parisienne salad, potato salad, and many more with some traditional bakery products. Some colleagues even joined the breakfast in a blue-collar suit 😊
As there was plenty of food and some portions left, we decided to donate it to a homeless shelter run by the community organisation Vagus. The volunteers at the shelter Domec in Bratislava used the food to provide breakfast for the homeless people there on the next day.
We are happy to have shared our meals with the people in need and thus providing them with an enjoyable moment in their lives.
The shelter Domec was opened in December 2013 and since then accommodated around 2,200 homeless people.
