Suddenly, digitalisation is elementary
The demand to “stay at home” not only has a major impact on our private lives but also on our work. For many of us, working from home, video conferencing and distributed teams are suddenly part of everyday life. Digitalisation is all of a sudden fundamental, and this does not only mean communication by e-mail and the exchange of documents via PDF. Entire processes such as the creation, review, and signing of documents and contracts, entire events such as sprint reviews and PI planning, but also the management of employees and project teams must be possible digitally. Especially in this economically and personally insecure situation, many people need more support.
In the current situation, it is important that the ability to act is maintained by companies, projects, and teams. After the highly disruptive days of the last week, it is important to create calm and gain clarity now. Where do we stand in the project, which processes are still functioning in our company, and where do we have new stumbling blocks? And last but not least, how is our team doing?
Right now, you need a good overview of your situation and must find ways to create trust and security in your team. As a manager, you need your own resilience and confidence to become an anchor for your team. Now, during the crisis, it is important to identify acute problems and obstacles and to find short-term measures, tools, and possibilities to continue the daily work and maintain a good level of productivity.
Fitness Check brings clarity

And last but not least, these insights will also help us to prepare for the next crisis and to enter it stronger.
